I cannot install partition magic as it says close all running programs first
Make sure that you
close down all programs before you install this program and shut down as
much as you can from the system tray as well. Alternatively restart your
computer and do not load anything on startup. Note this will take away
your internet security so if you are a broadband user disconnect your
modem first.
Once done click start > run then type msconfig and press
return. On the general tab click selective startup and untick the load
startup items box before clicking OK and then restart.
Install the
program and then return to the dialogue and select Normal Startup then
OK and restart again to finish. Now you can reconnect your internet
modem safely.
